  • 1 cup pumpkin puree not pumpkin pie filling
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream with a hand mixer or stand mixer until stiff peaks form. Set aside ½ cup for topping if desired.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, powdered sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the pumpkin mixture in batches, being careful not to deflate the mousse.
