- 1 cup pumpkin puree not pumpkin pie filling
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ⅓ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream with a hand mixer or stand mixer until stiff peaks form. Set aside ½ cup for topping if desired.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, powdered sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the pumpkin mixture in batches, being careful not to deflate the mousse.
Spoon the mousse into serving glasses or bowls. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the mousse set.
Garnish with whipped cream, a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice, and any optional toppings before serving. Enjoy!
