- 1 can 8 biscuits refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 cup apple pie filling chopped into smaller pieces
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Separate the biscuit dough into 8 pieces and flatten each into a 3-inch circle.
Place 1 tablespoon of apple pie filling in the center of each dough circle. Pinch the edges together to seal and roll into a ball.
Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
Place the bombs seam-side down in the basket, leaving space between each one. Air fry for 6–8 minutes, or until golden brown.
Brush the warm bombs with melted butter and roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
Serve warm, optionally drizzled with caramel sauce or dusted with powdered sugar.
- Storage: Store leftover bombs in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to restore crispiness.
- Freezing: Assemble the bombs and freeze them unbaked. Cook directly from frozen, adding 2–3 minutes to the air fryer time.
- Alternative Fillings: Try cherry pie filling, Nutella, or even cream cheese for different flavors.
