Ingredients

  • 1 can 8 biscuits refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup apple pie filling chopped into smaller pieces
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Separate the biscuit dough into 8 pieces and flatten each into a 3-inch circle.
  • Place 1 tablespoon of apple pie filling in the center of each dough circle. Pinch the edges together to seal and roll into a ball.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  • Place the bombs seam-side down in the basket, leaving space between each one. Air fry for 6–8 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Brush the warm bombs with melted butter and roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
  • Serve warm, optionally drizzled with caramel sauce or dusted with powdered sugar.

Notes

  • Storage: Store leftover bombs in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to restore crispiness.
  • Freezing: Assemble the bombs and freeze them unbaked. Cook directly from frozen, adding 2–3 minutes to the air fryer time.
  • Alternative Fillings: Try cherry pie filling, Nutella, or even cream cheese for different flavors.
