- 1 lb 450g chicken tenders
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking spray
Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Dip each chicken tender into the flour, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Press gently to ensure the breadcrumbs stick.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the chicken tenders in a single layer, leaving space between them. Spray the tops of the tenders with cooking spray.
Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until the tenders are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F or 74°C).
Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces and enjoy!
- Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to restore crispiness.
- Freezing: Freeze uncooked, breaded tenders. Cook directly from frozen, adding 2–3 minutes to the air fryer time.
- Gluten-Free Option: Use almond flour and gluten-free breadcrumbs as substitutes.
