- 1 lb 450g ground beef, pork, turkey, or a combination
- ½ cup breadcrumbs regular or panko
- 1 large egg
- ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- ¼ cup onion finely diced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, parmesan cheese, garlic, onion, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
Roll the mixture into evenly sized balls, about 1½ inches in diameter.
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the meatballs in a single layer, ensuring they don’t touch.
Cook the meatballs at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/74°C).
Serve immediately with your favorite sauce or side dish.
- Storage: Store leftover meatballs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for 2–3 minutes.
- Freezing: Freeze uncooked meatballs on a baking sheet, then transfer to a freezer bag. Cook directly from frozen, adding a few extra minutes to the cooking time.
- Sauce Options: Toss the meatballs in marinara, BBQ sauce, or teriyaki sauce for different flavor profiles.
